Oh wow, I'd love to have taken some basket weaving classes here! How lucky you are to have an event such as Esprit Jardin. And love both captures too (love the 2nd 'action shot':)
De merveilleux nids a mettre dans son propre jardin, son propre balcon ou chez soi. Des experiences enrichissantes ces ateliers. P.S. Meme observation pour moi au sujet de Jean Tardieu!!
I do like basket weaving. My friend used to make baskets from Pine needles. A certain type of pine needle extra long. She learned in Alaska. The Native Americans on the coast here did and still do a lot of weaving. Beautiful stuff. MB

Those are some seriously gorgeous baskets!
ReplyDeleteThere are many artisans who make baskets. I do not know anyone who uses baskets except for Easter and the odd picnic. Ars gratia artis.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I would love to learn this.
ReplyDeleteWow, I know some birds who would appreciate such ready-made nests.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime bien ces paniers en forme de nids. les lignes rouges , ce sont des morceaux d'osier (?)que les "éleves" sont en train de tresser?
ReplyDeleteOh Ciel, what a wonderful series of the Esprit Jardin!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
I love the very top photo of the baskets with that wonderful background.

ReplyDeleteNot only the baskets, like nests, are lovely, but also the curtain in the background is very pretty.
