Collège de Clagny

Back to cold and snowy after a lovely spring Saturday... A modern sculpture in the back yard of Clagny college. Collège is the first level of secondary education in the French educational system, usually entered at approximately age 10.

Retour au froid et à la neige après un samedi printanier. Sculpture moderne dans la cour du collège de Clagny.

    Nice sculpture...looks like beautiful jewels set in wood.

    In many places in the states, we now have "middle schools" which contain grades 6-8. High school is 9-12. As a teacher I dislike middle schools. We used to have Junior High Schools, which had grades 9-12.

    Sixth-graders (10 year olds) are still too immature to be in school with 7th and 8th graders.

    That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it! ;)

    I LOVE IT. I'm not always a fan of contemporary art but this made me smile. I"m sure it makes the students smile as well.
