Pâté de sanglier et Charolais

Lunch at the smoking dog: wild boar pâté and Charolais steak. The Charolais breed is originally from Burgundy in France.

Mes assiettes au "chien qui fume".

  1. Hmm...looks interesting. Can't conceive of eating wild boar pate and haven't had red meat in many years. I'm not a vegetarian but Lois Anne is. Actually, the steak looks pretty good.

I thought all Burgundy was good for was wine! Just kidding!!!

  2. Charolais is also a very popular breed in Virginia--or at least it was. Remember being chased by a Charolais bull on one of my runs. :-)

  5. I would happily eat through my computer screen if I could - still haven't had dinner after a long day! What (exquisite) torture!

  7. I would be pleased to each the beef, but not the wild boar pate.

  9. Cela fait envie. Un peu trop cuit, pour moi, le Charolais.

  13. Like Lowell, I haven't eaten red meat for awhile...but, this looks tasty. I'm not so sure about the wild boar pate. It could be a bit exotic for me. By the way, I like that you've been branching out recently with your subject matter.
