This is an archive photo from just over two years ago, but the scene on Avenue de Saint-Cloud was probably similar yesterday morning, though not half as much snow fell during the night as it had on 8-9 December 2010. I'm hoping that this weekend I'll be able to get fresh photos!
ReplyDeleteIt's snowy winter wonderland! So crisp and fresh, hopefully not too cold though:) ps. Such a great idea of the entwined trees as a valentine post! I need to find more entwined trees now:)
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful capture! I love the light and blue skies for a backdrop! Terrific composition! Hope you're feeling much better soon, Ciel. Never fun to be sick -- at any time of the year!
ReplyDeleteAre you having an unusually cold winter in Europe? A colleague of mine missed a connection last weekend when his flight out of Tel Aviv was canceled due to snow. That's bizarre.
ReplyDeleteIt snowed in Connecticut today. That is OK . . . it is winter, after all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteI have been in PAris when it snowed. It was beautiful, until we tried to fly out the next day.
ReplyDeleteApparently snow is due here on Friday....we'll see.
ReplyDeletePretty light! Hope I have time to shoot this weekend too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful image! I also hope we can go out during the weekend to take some pictures of the snow here.
j'espère que tu vas bien!Prends soin de ta santé!
bisous
Léia
I would love to walk in the snow, but I can see how you would be tired if it by now Ciel..especially as its so cold.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I live in a warm climate, I have a soft spot for a sunny day with fresh snow. Once it turns gray, yucky and slushy...forget it. Hope you're feeling better and you're able to get out and hunt for fresh photos soon.
ReplyDeleteHow nice, I hope we get some soon!
ReplyDeleteIt is colder now, but I hope we will be spared the snow for the third year in a row...
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful. Snow makes the world look magical.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty light here. The photo has a crisp wintery feel.
ReplyDelete@ Perth: I'm not tired of winter, it has only just begun here. Until now we had strange, mild, dreary, grey days...
