Ah, I remember those days and four kids watching for Santa!! But this year they'll be putting up the tree!! Hooray!! Hope your week is going well, Ciel! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!! Enjoy!
I gather this tradition is about the same in France as in the US. We haven't done one since the children were still at home. We're not sentimental enough and probably just too lazy.
I don't think we are going to have a tree this year. Just haven't got one and I personally don't want to spend 55US for a small tree. But I have my Father christmases stationed around.

Been there, done that. But no more! :-)
ReplyDeleteFor several years we bought a live tree, and at midnight Christmas Eve we planted it in the yard.
Worked pretty good.
Zuhause ... danke für die Erinnerungen. Einen guten Mittwoch dir.
ReplyDeleteWe used to do the live tree thing as well. Always so fragrant.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice assortment.
ReplyDeleteGood looking trees. We usually have one, if we're at home. Love the smell of conifers.
ReplyDeleteune foret très saisonniere ;). J'espere qu'il y a un plan, car la dame semble perdue
ReplyDeleteUn joli moyen de s'evader et d'en respirer a fond l'odeur.
ReplyDeleteAh the smell . . .
ReplyDeleteOn pourrait presque s'y perdre.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful feeling for sure...For me it's the real Christmas Tree! :)

en reponse a ton interrogation , il y avait un canon a neige pendant le spectacle.
ReplyDeleteWe started with a fake tree a few years ago, but I suspect we'll go back to real ones soon. The trees drive my sinuses crazy, but it's so worth it.
ReplyDeleteNice looking group of trees.
This reminds me of a time when, as a kid, I could get lost in this kind of forest, a long time ago!
ReplyDeletewonderful christmas scents!!!
ReplyDeleteI can tell you it would take me forever to pick one Ciel. They look lovely all grouped together like a mini forest.
ReplyDeleteA forest it is! Are they potted?
ReplyDeleteNice memories of fragrant trees, an oasis on the pavement! It's pouring here, too, can you believe it :-)
ReplyDelete@ JM: I'm pretty sure most of them aren't.
