A côté du primeur

Next to the fruit & veg shop in Montreuil neighbourhood. All you need to pick up your canine friend's... er... you-know-whats. No parking anytime and be careful there might be human beings walking. Oh and you might even want to buy some fruit now that the crates and boxes are empty. That would be here.

A Montreuil.

  1. Lol, its a deceptively peaceful little scene, so much going on! Your canine 'helpers' look like ours, perhaps dark green and slanted box tops are the universal sign for those canine thingies? I could use a touch of vitamin c (beautiful prior photos :).

(I only noticed that little gold statue in my photo when you pointed it out! On second glance, it looks like a small buddhist (or hindi?) statue, with a hand raised, though I confess to not having any real idea. Amazing how photos literally capture the moment - even things you don't notice at the time! :)

  3. Very funny. I wonder if they've covered all the bases? I would think that bike parking would not be allowed on the sidewalk, for sure.

And yes, a tree can scratch your back. Just walk up to an especially "barky" one, turn around, back up until you meet the tree, then jump up and down very quickly. It is best to wear a strong shirt when doing this.

  12. They should erect a statue of the person who invented....hmm, what do you call those green things? Dog poop stations?

I can râler about the people who either don't use them or put the dog waste into the plastic bags then toss the bags on the ground.

  14. The empty boxes make for a colorful background and the bike give it great perspective. My kind of photo!

  16. Those empty boxes remind me of our local farmer's market - only they are not usually stacked as neatly.
