This is what the sky has been like most of July so far, when it wasn't grey-white. It is a look at the palace Orangerie from below.

ReplyDeleteour sky looked like that this afternoon...lots of rain, thunder and lightning...now the sun is shining!
ReplyDeleteIt looks moody and beautiful! Unlike our dull, grey, overcast clouds (though our sun came back too).
ReplyDeleteSuper photo, Ciel. I do hope the weather improves for you soon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of an ominous sky.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth :)
Our looked just like that today. I like the sunlight in this shot.
ReplyDeleteThe global weather patterns this year are bizarre and fascinating. We have become a burning desert. The Mississippi may reach its lowest water level since records have been kept.
ReplyDeleteAt least it looks like the sun is trying to come out. I hope it clears up for you soon!
ReplyDeleteI do hope your weather improves. We are having quite a thunderstorm as I type this!
ReplyDeleteYou are having a lost month, it seems. The middle and east of the USA has been having a heat wave, but it broke this afternoon with clouds like this, followed by thunder and lightning and heavy rain. We should have blue skies and normal temperatures tomorrow. I can hardly wait!
ReplyDeleteAh, looks like Seattle and particularly tonight!! I have to admit though I do love our cooler temps!! So much of the US is sweltering -- as Jack has written!! Have good tomorrow, Ciel!!
ReplyDeleteje trouve que tu as beaucoup de lumière
ReplyDeletedramatic, mais tellement photogenique!
ReplyDeleteI hope the sun soon shines for you Ciel ... the moody skies complement the lovely old architecture.
ReplyDeleteI would really like some of that sky over here...
ReplyDeleteI love this picture, the columns are wonderful and well...we need to be positive about the blue sky! hihihi

ReplyDeleteI do see a little blue up there! Nice composition. Perhaps you're going to have to wait 'til August before the nice weather sets in?
ReplyDeleteWe've had gorgeous weather, unseasonably cool; June and July are normally quite hot, but I can't remember a July as nice as this. Of course, we get thunderstorms most afternoons which helps to cool things down even if they are rather scary and sometimes bring tornadoes with them.
crazy weather. here it is so hot we are drained of energy.
ReplyDeleteThe composition here excites me.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Birdman Ciel, I'm sorry about your weather, but this shot is dramatic to the max! The sun will have to come soon I'm very sure.
What a dramatic looking sky!
ReplyDeleteWell, it could be worse. It was 41C Rehoboth Beach yesterday! Hang in there, better sky's are coming!
ReplyDeleteLove the warm light contrasting to the menacing sky.
