There's a lovely flower bed in front of Saint-Symphorien church in Montreuil neighbourhood at the moment. This photo was taken on Saturday, there was a wedding in the church and the young lady came out to... text!

ReplyDeleteSome people are more wedded to their phones than to their spouses, friends, parents or significant others! :-)
ReplyDeleteOr maybe she just had to describe these beautiful flowers to her employer. Non?
Please tell me it wasn't the bride--although I wouldn't be surprised.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lowell. The flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes! I agree with Lowell, too! I think there are people here that even sleep with their phones! I do love the flowers, such lovely colors! Hope you're ready for a great weekend, Ciel!

People everywhere are constantly texting.... Smelling the flowers is so much more enjoyable. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! What a lovely scene. I like the idea of the young lady (bride perhaps?) texting about the flowers.
ReplyDeleteA post about beauty and silly behavior. I might be offended if I were the groom. Anyway, where are you going to stash a cell phone in a wedding dress?
ReplyDeleteWow that is so lovely. I like the round purple flower.
ReplyDeleteJe pensais qu'elle avait été punie...

@ all: I'm not sure it was the bride, I was thinking perhaps a bridesmaid.

The wildflowers are really lovely and I'm sure the wedding was too! Maybe she snuck out to change her facebook status!
ReplyDeleteDo get me started on texting. When my oldest son first got it, our phone bill arrived in a box, listing each of the 13,000+ phone numbers he texted during the month.
Pretty sad if you can't sit for an hour at such an occasion without looking at your phone. At least she had the courtesy to come outside.
ReplyDeleteAnd the flowers are absolutely beautiful. Love the mix of color. :)
Gorgeous view across the flowers to the church Ciel, love the purple pom poms.. I hope she wasn't texting to find out why the groom or the bride hadn't turned up yet!!
ReplyDeleteoh wow, this is a beautiful garden....people just don't live in the moment anymore do they?
ReplyDeleteI will always be envious of the abundance of flowers in your city...
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are so pretty! Oh my gosh....left the wedding to text?? Hopefully that wasn't the bride.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers. I like the mixture of colours.
ReplyDeleteLook at those cute blue pompoms!
