Granted, this isn't exactly very much of an action shot... I missed lots of them, I was never quick enough for police cars whizzing by, that kind of thing. So here is police. In front of the palace, mounted police reminding people that you can't just park where you like! Click here to view thumbnails for all participants I am away for a few days, VDP continues on autopilot, see you soon!
Parking tickets are a revenue generator, and everyone needs money these days.
ReplyDeleteFun to see the mounted police ACTION! Great for theme day, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteLooks like action to me.
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot about theme day. I think this is perfect! Enjoy your time off.
ReplyDeleteGreat action shot in a great spot.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
Great shot Ciel, love to see the mounted police doing their thing, what a spectacular backdrop, the palace is unbelievably gorgeous. Enjoy your travels.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute little Audi. That photo really shows the magnitude of the palace!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks more elegant in France, including the mounted police.
ReplyDeleteI guess slow action is also action.
ReplyDeleteSeeing a horse always makes me happy.
hoping all is well, ciel, and that there are no parking tickets in your immediate future.
ReplyDeletewell i think you did good anyway, i'd rather see them on a horse than a boring old car!
ReplyDeleteWhat an unexpected action shot! Enjoy your respite.
ReplyDeleteBon weekend prolonge!
Anyone who would think that it is OK to park between a crosswalk and the adjacent intersection must think they are a member of royalty.
ReplyDeleteWe could nee a squadron of these but they would need sabres to get the job done.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time away.
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot. Probably because I'm not getting a ticket! Being a police person is a stress-filled job and not one I would want. I remember about 25 years ago, a city cop sometimes stopped in my office for a cup of coffee...then he'd hang out for an hour or so until his shift was over. He didn't want to experience any more stress that particular day!
ReplyDeleteStill not back fully...had to get another computer and setting it up is a real process! Ugh.
Even if it's "slow" action, I like it!
ReplyDeleteI had to look twice - no horses in the city here except for special occasions. I like this photo!
