This house on the queen's boulevard can only be photographed when there are no leaves on the trees! This photo was taken last spring. It is raining pots and buckets at the moment.
Cette maison boulevard de la reine ne peut être photographiée que sans feuilles aux arbres ! Cette photo a été prise au printemps dernier. En ce moment, il pleut des cordes.
Oh, such a beautiful house. The inside must be incredible. I love he golden color - it suits this house so well.

I think you've shown us this before from a different angle. It is a mesmerizing building if a bit spooky!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely that it unveils itself once a year for the public (and the world!) to admire. Lovely shot Ciel, I hope you had a super weekend.
ReplyDeleteI net it would also be cool on a full-moon night, it looks kinda spooky.
ReplyDeleteThat's a bit of extravagant architecture. It needs no further dressing.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing looking home.
@ Lowell: nope, never shown this yet!
ReplyDeleteA good reason for the seasons... bare trees provide the better view! It's raining buckets here too...
ReplyDeleteJ'adorerais voir l'interieur, doit y avoir des escaliers, des recoins, des mansardes, des boudoirs, des greniers..
ReplyDeleteit's magnificent. hope your rain ends soon.
ReplyDeleteSeveral times I have bought paintings while on a trip, and when I go to find and photograph the exact spot of the painting, the trees are in the way and I then realize that the artist reduced the leaves covering the scene when painting it to show the subject.
ReplyDeleteA nice little shack. I wouldn't mind living there. :)
ReplyDeleteBetter pots and buckets than cats and dogs but more dangerous though...;-)
ReplyDeleteWe got some rain today, but nothing remarkable. Love that house!
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful house. No rain here although I am longing for it.
ReplyDeleteI have also noticed new things now that the leaves are gone. Beautiful house!!
ReplyDeleteWow that is a beautiful house and on Queen's Boulevard sounds appropriate.
ReplyDeleteThe light is delicious!
ReplyDeleteI've missed seeing the French architecture in your lovely photos! That is a grand house.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous building! The bare trees add so much to the photo.
ReplyDeleteWhy am I seeing hearts everywhere lately?! Are they at the top trim? And did they do that on purpose, I wonder. Beautiful house!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you so much for your comments! Made me feel good! I hope you find a nice tree. Me, I've been getting scented candles...but it's just not the same!
