Both photos bring back some wonderful memories. I must say, though, I don't think I've seen a more dramatic autumn photo than that first one. It is absolutely and incredibly gorgeous!!

ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful. I especially like the top one. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteScrumptious colours! And I love the second photo, the view through the trunks.
ReplyDeleteThe color transitions in the first are killer. I think that green to orange to red is just amazing.
ReplyDeleteYou are having much prettier color this year than we did. I like the hint of the palace in the second image.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful with a V for victory too!
ReplyDeleteThe view with a knot of red trees on the horizon is the best. A better vanishing point than the city.
ReplyDeleteI want to walk down that street. How lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is a grand boulevard. The Champs Elysses has nothing on this promenade.
ReplyDeleteUmm, I think your trees are more colouful than those around here.
ReplyDeleteCe ne sont pas de "vraies" rousses, il n'y a pas longtemps elles étaient encore vertes.
ReplyDeletethe way you've taken these, the trees have such presence and personality.
ReplyDeleteDe bien belles tetes. Attention teinte temporaire!
ReplyDeleteI like all of your fall colors in the trees. Nice.
ReplyDeleteSoon all this color will be 'leafing' you. Enjoy the Avenue while you can.
ReplyDeleteI hope you print the first photograph, Ciel. It is absolutely stunning! This is one of the best tree-lined path shots I have seen.

We never get these wonderful deep colors, neither in spring nor in autumn...
