Roses de Toussaint

In Notre-Dame graveyard, some late blooming roses last weekend and a tree on fire!

Au cimetière Notre-Dame, le weekend dernier, les étonnantes roses en fleurs et l'arbre en feu !

  2. Wonderful roses, spectacular tree in contrast to the bits of green and a lot of grey.

  5. Now that's a cemetery worth spending some time in! (Poor English, I know. But I don't care.)

I really like the color of the roses and that tree is to die for!

Tonight I feel like I've accomplished something many people felt impossible: Rendered you speechless! Heh, heh!

That was a very nice comment! Thank you. And I hope your weekend is filled with joy and happiness and lots of good photos!

Those roses really pop, especially against the dark stones. The tree loos like it is on fire!

Thanks for your comment on the rail shot, I agree,

  8. Les rouges et oranges magnifient le gris autour! sans les couleurs, ça serait triste , mais soudain, ça devient beau et ineteressant!

  10. The top shot is wonderful! Love the falling cross next to all those gorgeous roses, not to mention the red tree below, of course!

  11. Those delicious roses and the (WoW!) flaming tree sure add life and color to the gray stone cemetery and dreary surrounding buildings.

And the cross in bending down to smell the roses?

  14. I love that bottom photo, the grays and headstones are overshadowed by that beautiful tree. Both photos are great.

  15. Les vieilles pierres comme les neuves du reste vont si bien avec les couleurs d'automne. Tu en as de la chance. Pas une ombre de couleurs automnales par ici...
