I like the way light and shadow play in this photo, and what's more, it's a view which is always very tempting for me too:) As for the chapel, there is only one mass on the first Sunday of each month when you are allow in - shame, isn't it!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I like the way the light comes in.
ReplyDeleteNice light and reflection.
ReplyDeleteA "doorway" doesn't necessarily have to contain a door, as long as it is an entrance or an exit.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely photo.

I like it, whether or not it's a doorway. (Perhaps you could start Sortie Saturday!) : )
ReplyDeleteI think I've been there but I have gotten so lost getting back to the train station from the palace. The warm glow is welcome for confused tourists.
ReplyDeleteA doorway is an entrance. Great color and reflection.
ReplyDeleteLove the coming out into light idea!
ReplyDeleteI love the color at the end of the darkness.
ReplyDeleteI have taken the train from Paris to Versailles several times, but I do not remember a ramp like this. Must be a different train station.
ReplyDeleteI like the shape, color and details here.
ReplyDeletei'm trying to figure out that arch filled facade outside the windows.
ReplyDeleteC'est beau chez toi...
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup la lumière et ces arches! Une belle photo, très réussite!

Lots of curves in the doorway and the windows outside. I like the reflection too!
ReplyDeleteAlors je fais comme mon père à qui son prof demandait de prendre la porte : je la dégonde. D'autant qu'elle n'est pas trop lourde.
ReplyDelete:)

Beautifully composed Ciel, the soft light and the arch combine to make a lovely image.

ReplyDeleteC'est pentu avec une jolie lumière, ça donne des envies e patin à roulettes! si, si!
ReplyDeleteI like the doorway... seen from the other side!
ReplyDeleteOnce again, you use color beautifully, Ciel. The yellow arch with the blue roof behind are so pretty.

It's a nice photo with great light no matter what it is. At first I thought it was the entrance to a series of apartments. :-)
ReplyDeleteNice golden color upon leaving the train station.
ReplyDeleteEn chinois, Sortie, cela s'écrit avec un cactus et un carré, si, si, à Pékin, c'est comme ça.
ReplyDeleteLove the light in this photo!
ReplyDeleteSortie--this way to the light of day.
