The first shot is the winner, I think, because of the composition and the light...but the second shot has a certain aura - almost like a spirit hanging in the air!
I was hoping to see these stain glass windows after the peak you showed the other day. They proved to be worth the wait. That second photo is outstanding.
Re your comment on Colorado: I looked all over for Brad, but never did see him. Then someone told me he was in France with Angelina. Didn't you see him there?

Second shot is interesting, but I like the light in the first.
ReplyDeleteyes, the angles and light in both of these seems other-worldly.

ReplyDeleteVery nice photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures!
ReplyDeleteI'm going with the first photograph, Ciel. I like the color, the content and the composition.
ReplyDeleteThe first shot has some wonderful color.

ReplyDeleteThe color and angle of the first photo is striking.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite stained glass church is St. Chapelle in Paris. It is an architectural jewel.
What a joyful Holy Spirit-dove!
ReplyDeleteStunning photos Ciel, the first just gorgeous and the second very artistic.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, fantastic light in the 1st shot!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

Beautiful images, I agree with T. Becque about the second one.
ReplyDeleteI like them both.
ReplyDeleteStained glass is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteOn en a souvent besoin de ce genre de lumiere. Belle prise au bon moment.
ReplyDeleteVoici pourquoi certains deviennent croyants..
ReplyDeletePersonally, I like the angle and light of the first, but they are both excellent.

ReplyDeleteCheesecake in the oven! Sheesh! Now, you're making me hungry! And I just finished lunch!
ReplyDeleteGreat pieces of art. The way light gets inside the cathedral is not common. Warm colours give sense and essence to the place.

Very pretty, I like it.
ReplyDeleteStill without a computer so I have to look pitiful and borrow. Woe is me. MB
I do like the second still! There's something spiritual about it, like a heavenly body radiating through the window!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... nice, but to me they look like painted glass, not stained (too many shadings for stained).
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous stained glass windows and very well shot.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth :)
Stained glass is such an amazing art form. Beautiful! And T. Becque was right...it's an awesome picture.
ReplyDeleteThe first shot is quite breathtaking! What beauty.
