Sign Series: enseigne I

I love this sign, it makes me want to ride in a carriage... Seen in Porchefontaine neighbourhood.

J'adore cette enseigne qui me donne envie de partir en carrosse ! Vue à Porchefontaine.

Yes, a very fine sign with lots of detail and character. They have quite an extensive wine list :-)

  8. That is a nice sign. I have seen similar ones in New England; we like the image of horses and carriages. I have also seen weathervanes with carriages.

  9. This would require wearing something long and elegant and 18th/19th century, I think.

  10. Well, we got carriage rides here if you're ever desperate. Oh for the good old days when TWA had non-stop service from St. Louis to Paris.

  13. I was too busy looking at the writing to see the iron work above it. I like the shots in your two previous posts.

  14. That sign is a work of art on it's own I think Brattcat. If the food is as good as the signage, fantastic!

  23. Wouldn't it bs wonderful to ride around in a carriage in Versailles? I would love to do that too and wear one of those gorgeous 18th century dresses - but not in the summer heat.
