Wednesday Doorway: lycée Hoche

I have already told you about this place and its history. The first post about Hoche high school of excellence was here. The works are almost finished now! Actually they might be totally finished as these photos were taken before VDP took a break!

Je vous avais montré le lycée Hoche ici en vous racontant un peu son histoire. Les travaux sont presque finis ! A vrai dire, les travaux sont peut-être totalement terminés maintenant puisque ces photos ont été prises avant les vacances de VDP.

    Re the park and people: Having so many people out enjoying the park on a lovely spring day was wonderful. It is part of what makes the park magic to me. Sorry, we don't agree on this one . . .

    The building carries a sense of authority and grandeur. We don't do that well in this country. We're too young.

    Chouettes ces deux photos, douces en couleurs. Une porte pas facile à franchir que ce soit dans un sens comme dans un autre car le chemin à y parcourir n'est pas toujours bordé de roses sans épines...
