This pretty small square and playground is to be found at the top end of Avenue de Sceaux. Idyllic? Next to the beer and cheapest red wine, there is a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin...

Evidently sometimes beggars can be choosers!
ReplyDeleteAnd no, there are no whatchamacallits in that little canal.
Everybody has to live somewhere. To bad some have to leave such a mess. I'll bet they thought that bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin was a real find.
ReplyDeleteThe warm light on the wall is charming. Too bad about the trash but it looks easy to sweep up, at least.

You guys sell blonds in 6-pack??!! Sorry, I couldn't resist. Maybe someone snuck the good stuff out of a party and finished it in the park. What's the phrase? Life is too short to drink cheap wine?
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't belive how many playgrounds look over here.
ReplyDeleteA thoughtful mean to measure time and life indeed. Please have a good weekend.

A place setting for a beggar's banquet.
ReplyDeletedes épaves de party , non aucun problème pour instant passe une bonne fin de semaine.
ReplyDeleteUne bouteille de quartier!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet it's pretty in full spring. Sad to see the trash though.
ReplyDeleteIt is a grand playground, Ciel. I guess the trash just tells us that Versailles isn't a complete paradise.
ReplyDeleteSorry to see the litter though. One man's trash is another man's yearly salary.
ReplyDeletemy, my vueve in the playground. I hope things are well
ReplyDeletePerhaps a trash can in the area could help?
ReplyDeleteOn a warm summer day I'd sit here with you sipping the fine champagne, Ciel, but we'd take the empty bottle to glass recycling bin, wouldn't we. Jacob cracks me up.
ReplyDeletecomme quoi tout le monde picole à Versailles
ReplyDeleteLike most beautiful spots, look deep for the ugly underbelly.
ReplyDeleteI guess the big kids still want to play at the park!
ReplyDeleteA really sad view, quite common everywhere...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the trash found its way there too.
ReplyDeleteAu moins "ils "ont des gouts eclectiques..
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to see litter there! Why are humans the same everywhere?!
ReplyDeleteAhh, a common sight around the world I see! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how people have such disregard for nature. It pops up in the most beautiful places.
ReplyDeleteVeuve Clicquot? Someone really had fun... Or wanted to get elegantly depressed... :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
I bet it was stolen! :-)
