Square des Francine

This pretty small square and playground is to be found at the top end of Avenue de Sceaux. Idyllic? Next to the beer and cheapest red wine, there is a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin...

  1. Evidently sometimes beggars can be choosers!

And no, there are no whatchamacallits in that little canal.

  2. Everybody has to live somewhere. To bad some have to leave such a mess. I'll bet they thought that bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin was a real find.

  3. The warm light on the wall is charming. Too bad about the trash but it looks easy to sweep up, at least.

You guys sell blonds in 6-pack??!! Sorry, I couldn't resist. Maybe someone snuck the good stuff out of a party and finished it in the park. What's the phrase? Life is too short to drink cheap wine?

You wouldn't belive how many playgrounds look over here.

A thoughtful mean to measure time and life indeed. Please have a good weekend.

  10. It is a grand playground, Ciel. I guess the trash just tells us that Versailles isn't a complete paradise.

  11. Sorry to see the litter though. One man's trash is another man's yearly salary.

  14. On a warm summer day I'd sit here with you sipping the fine champagne, Ciel, but we'd take the empty bottle to glass recycling bin, wouldn't we. Jacob cracks me up.
