I discovered this seemingly recent little public garden in Porchefontaine neighbourhood during a sunny Sunday walk. I made the most of it because this winter has been so rainy and gloomy. I liked the benches and shadows, including a shadow of yours truly!

J'ai découvert ce square qui semble récent à Porchefontaine lors d'une promenade dominicale ensoleillée (chose rare en ce début d'année). J'aime bien les bancs et les ombres, y compris celle de votre servitrice !
Must have been late afternoon. A very nice park and I love the sunlight as well as the shadows. Are the ramps for wheelchairs?
ReplyDeleteRe your question on Florida Fotos: Yes, it is a picnic area in our daughter's back yard...I'll post some more photos soon.
Cute! Looks more like someone's private garden than a public spot. Guess not many people know about it, or perhaps things would be more worn. :)
ReplyDeleteWow it's so green! I love the shadows too.

ReplyDeleteI almost thought is was an outdoor store because everything looks so new. It looks like a nice place to visit and relax.
ReplyDeleteMais oui, the shadows and sunlight are just right. Very nice.

The first one is particularly well composed and lit. It draws the viewer in. The incomplete chair makes me wonder what's going on to the right of the frame.
ReplyDeleteWhat an enticing place! I love the freshness of it, as I sit here wondering when the snow will be gone.

ReplyDeleteen effet avec le soleil sur les bancs, cela donne de belles ombres, il est bien sympathique ce parc
ReplyDeleteNot one's usual lush garden but lots of new benches.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if its been recently refurbished. Good access for wheel chair users
ReplyDeleteHey, y a des bancs, y a des bancs, y a de bancs!!!
ReplyDelete(tu es sure de ton coup pour "servitrice"?..)

ReplyDeleteYou have found the benches' paradise!
ReplyDeleteI am glad VP found the benches!:)
ReplyDeleteWell, I love the way you have photographed/created these images.
You have really got much out of light and shadow as well as colors and shapes.
A pretty little park and a nice sunny day.
ReplyDelete@ Jacob: I think they are.
ReplyDelete@ Bob: you don't want to know!
Very nice. It's looks a great place to beat the crowds of the city and take the load off. I like that is is nice and green and I like the line of the privacy fence.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little discovery you and your shadow made.
ReplyDeleteI am wondering about the comment about Edith Piaf...did she live in this area? The neighborhood that I mentioned a while back when you were featuring this neighborhood is LeChesnay, I believe. Near the huge shopping center. I loved the winding streets from the shopping center to the Chateau Area in Versailles.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. Such a neat find. MB
ReplyDeleteA beautiful array of benches and shadows.
ReplyDeleteIt looks a little like a garden centre because it's all so new!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun discovering a new place like this?!
ReplyDeleteCiel, I like how you included only a part of the chair. It makes for a bit of mystery.
