Christmas decorations as seen last Saturday in the antiques district are reflected in a restaurant for James' Weekend Reflections. If you look closely, antiques are also reflected!

I like the reflections but my eyes keep going back to the lines of the structure, they are really fascinating (I'll forever be a dork).
ReplyDeleteAs usual, your reflections are stunning - and very colorful!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that Xmas decorations are still up as of Jan. 15, though.
Interesting shot and reflection. My friend from Germany and Russia tells me that Christmas is celebrated for two weeks AFTER we celebrate in the US . . . so not too late for Christmas decorations to still be around.
ReplyDeleteI love the antiques districts in the village of Versailles! I have bought wonderful pieces from the shops.
ReplyDeleteThe red decorations stand out against an otherwise subdued background.
ReplyDeleteWow you can't miss that one!
ReplyDeleteAntique shopping in France, now that could be fun!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. I have always loved antique shops.

I guess if they leave the Christmas decorations up long enough, the decoration swill be considered an antique.
ReplyDeleteI like the decorations too. Well the Epiphany was on the 6th and the Wise Men need to see red and shiny stuff too.
ReplyDeleteSt. Valentine's Day is next. MB
@ Paulie & all: Christmas is celebrated in France and Germany on the 25th, not later. Every year the decorations stay on a little bit longer though, I have no clue why, probably just that they don't get around to taking them off...
ReplyDeleteDouble prettiness.
ReplyDeleteShow of colour and beuatiful lights in this reflection! Fantastic capture!

A nice touch of color and some nice reflections.
ReplyDeleteKind of depressing to still be up.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I like the colors of that chandelier-thingy.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice weekend and keep warm!
The reflections are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections and I'd love to go antique shopping in France! How fun!

Beautiful! such bright color. And stunning reflections.
ReplyDeleteNice reflection shot - great colours!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I'm so glad Canadians are not the only ones who still have Christmas decorations up!
