My favorite time of day for photography - when the blue of the sky meets the blue of the earth! Nothing beats it, and your photos are scrumptious! My only question is, "Did you use a tripod?" 'Cause, it not, you have very steady hands!
I was going to ask the same question jacob did (tripod). Town Hall is very beautiful at night with the lighting. The tree is awesome and it makes mine look really lame, but I don't have a government budget ;-)
So festive! With the snow and lights that's the perfect mood for the holidays. And yes, you're comment about the cherry on the cake makes sense. We use it too. :)

ReplyDeleteSoir seems to be the magic hour for photos during Christmas season.
ReplyDelete@ Jacob and Woody: no tripod. The first one I put my Canon Ixus point and shoot on a railing, the second one is hand held.

ReplyDeleteQuand on branche la Mairie, tout le quartier autour se retrouve dans le noir ?
ReplyDeleteIl faut dire que le bâtiment est déjà magnifique. Illuminée ainsi, la mairie a sa place dans la ville-soleil.
