Lit windows in the snow to come home to and poinsettia windows to wish you all a happy New Year's Eve! The summer view of the 'poinsettia house' is
this way.

ici.
I love the red poinsettia with the stone house as background.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Ceil!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like how the poinsettia's pop against the stone, they are beautiful.
Two very fine photographs that fill me with a sense of peace. I wouldn't mind at all coming home to that gorgeous maison - actually either one. The bottom house is stunningly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAre you having fun yet?
Re your question on Stone Creek - No, the golf course is not walled it...that's a retaining wall along one side of the 9th fairway.
Tous mes voeux pour vous pour 2011! (Please don't laugh at my French! Well, you can laugh, it's probably pretty funny!)
I love the vivid red in the second photo but the first photo is absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteHow perfectly elegant. And you still have snow - everything here has turned to chilled mud.
ReplyDeleteWonderful captures. They have a magical feel to them...almost as if such a pretty serene place couldn't exist.
ReplyDeleteLove the vibrant red flowers against the dead vines and brown stone. Happy new years Ciel!
ReplyDeleteA unique charm and magnificent pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteGreetings! Happy New Year!!!
:-)
Truly lovely. I liked the other photos in the slideshow form as well.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy New Year and looking forward to more photos from the Versailles region in 2011.
Lully in the background gives your blog a regal bearing...Merci beaucoup!
I always thought poinsettias were indoor plants. The house looks very "Christmassy". Have a Happy New Year.

They always have some flowers!
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy New Year!
Such a charming place...love the warm red poinsettias!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a very happy new year! :-D
Charming - I love the little canopy over the door too. xxxx
Such beautiful holiday scenes! Happy New Year to you!
Bon reveillon!
Ah... the fast-fading holiday season. HNY 2011.
ReplyDelete...A very Happy New Year !!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Ciel. Looking forward to more wonderful images of Versailles.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY end of the year photo, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteAll the best in 2011!
Two beautiful homes. This winter view with the red poinsettia has a charm lacking in the summer view.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful places!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these beautiful images with us.
I cannot believe how beautiful the area around you is. How jealous I am of Europeans! Though, granted we Americans do have the Grand Canyon, the Rocky Mountains, the Oregon Coast, and many other natural beauties. Thanks for sharing your corner of the world with us, Ciel!
ReplyDeletePerfect shots and beautiful subjects.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
