Lovers on their way back from the Palace are reflected in a bus stop with Versailles' coat of arms (more info about it? Click on the 'heraldry' label below). To see reflections from all over the world, visit James at Newtown Area Photo.

Les tourtereaux rentrent d'une visite au château et sont reflétés dans un abribus aux armes de la ville (pour plus d'infos à leur sujet, cliquez sur le tag "heraldry" ci-dessous). Les Reflets du Weekend de James, c'est par ici.
Almost perfectly centered.
ReplyDeleteWell seen and well done!:)
ReplyDeleteA photo with atmosphere.
Another of your most excellent reflection shots! I think I see a Segway in the background or is that merely a reflection, too?
ReplyDeleteExcellent reflection shot, Ciel.
ReplyDeleteSharon
Splendid shades of blue and gold and a grand reflection!
ReplyDeleteYour timing is amazing, cool shot!
ReplyDeleteAt first glance they looked like they might be in a test tube. Since the people are clearly lovers, there might be a little extra symbolism.
ReplyDeleteLovely reflection. I like the way you got them in the shield.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet----lovers--I like the idea. MB
ReplyDeleteune belle non photo montage
ReplyDeleteun chevalier et sa belle ?
@ Jacob: if a Sedway is one of those pumpy things on two wheels then yes. And yes, reflected.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't tell at first if "amoureaux" meant armor or amorous. What a great shot!
ReplyDeleteLovely and romantic. xx
ReplyDeleteA Segway at Versailles! You gathered a lot of things in this reflection!
ReplyDeleteBon, moi le segway, je m'en fiche, surtout depuis que je sais que le mec qui l'a inventé est tombé avec d'une falaise il y a un mois.Faut être bête pour utiliser ça a coté d'une falaise.. Par contre, je voyais un joli couple, le preux chevalier et sa gente damoiselle rentrant en leur château après une échappée romantique..Comme quoi, le regard de chacun etc.;
ReplyDeleteThe romantic couple is inside the "BLASON", it's wonderful!Lovely post Ciel, very well done!
ReplyDeleteLéia
Very Well Done.
ReplyDeleteHi Ciel...re the Ritz. "Historic" in Florida means it might be two or three years old!
ReplyDeleteNah, I'm kidding. I don't know when this place was built...I'd guess back in the 30s.
It was sold at auction about a year ago and now serves primarily as a bed-and-breakfast.
Not that great a place.
Hi again! Re Lake Reunion...yes, all the little lakes in Stone Creek are "artificial." And they are all stocked with fish. You can fish in Lake Reunion but it's catch-and-release. Some nice big bass, though.
ReplyDeleteAnd lots of golf balls!
I love this one! A perfect reflection. :D
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and a bit quirky with the Segways. Romantic with the building, tree, couple, coat of arms, then the oddness with the Segways. I like the combination!
ReplyDeleteAh, great, romantic reflections! Terrific capture as always, Ciel! Hope you have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteSylvia

ReplyDeleteit's your birthday lightbluelife the secret of existence
I love romantic reflections like this! Great photo :-D
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection and great shot. You captured the perfect moment.
ReplyDeleteAux armes, aux armes ! Et l'écu fleurdelysé de nous renvoyer à un glorieux passé, auquel ces amoureux pressés de vivre leur présent n'ont sûrement pas songé en passant devant... Belle photo en vérité.
ReplyDeletePerfect capture! I adore the particular blue shade of the coat of arms.
ReplyDeleteFantastic capture, Ciel - «Louis» loves the inclusion of the coat-of-arms.
ReplyDeleteCool, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect shot! And even a segway in the back, no?
ReplyDeleteun beau reflet tres romantique, belle photo
ReplyDeleteA bus stop with a coat of arms. Super stuff.
ReplyDeleteA great addition to Weekend Reflections! Great capture!
