Fabrics and a chair: an upholsterer's shop at the corner of Mazière and Orangerie streets with the criss-cross of cobblestones and zebra crossings is this week's contribution to Weekend Reflections.
---------------------------
The cobblestones are very nice. It looks like another set of crosswalk stripes or a shadow of a fence on the chair.
ReplyDeleteles tissus est très belle!
ReplyDeleteWe do not have any pedestrianized shopping streets. They are rare in America but there are a few. However, I've seen them all over Europe, East Asia and the parts of South America we have visited. It's so civilized. What does that say about my country?
ReplyDeleteI can get my shoes made and the sofa recovered all in one stroll down the boulevard!
ReplyDeleteSo many patterns, I like it! It's a study in shapes and color, real and unreal.
ReplyDeleteI've enlarged the picture ( in fact twice) and it's amazing, so many details!
ReplyDeleteBy the way I love those fabrics, beautiful colours!
**Have you tried any different project in your Singer machine, like for instance, some Summer dress? ;)
(How I envy you pour la swimming pool "on the roof")
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit confused by the reflection, but the colors are wonderful!
ReplyDeletePerfection! There's so much to see here. I've been staring at it so long I now must go take a nap and come back to it later! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm always pleased when Zebras can find a place to cross the street safely.
ReplyDeleteQuite a lot of lines and shapes here and the colours are pleasing to the eye!

ReplyDeleteCiel, this was worth a visit just to laugh out loud at the comments of VP, Jacob and B Squared... les hommes... I see a lovely blending of the colors in the fabrics with the black and white stripes of the reflection. Well done.
