There's a fine line between shabby and chic... A touch of careful restoration certainly looks like an attractive option in this case.
ReplyDeleteun petit coup de pinceaux ne lui serait pas de trop ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat do you suppose it looks like inside?
ReplyDeleteIf shabbychic were a word it would be an oxymoron. Shabby is right, chic I'm not so sure. Perhaps elegant at one time...
ReplyDeleteI like watching old door - interesting shot!
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is I like it!
ReplyDeleteOh this doorway speaks to my "handy man special" soul. I love this doorway. It just needs some TLC.
ReplyDeleteBut you can still see the beauty, so chic in a way!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely shabby. Could be chic. I love the shot (and the door)!! The details in the corbels are great and so are the windows.
This is a great door and facade.
ReplyDeleteWonderful entrance....definitely shabby chic. Great find and capture.
ReplyDeleteLa splendeur est passée, mais le charme est resté..Un coup de peinture gacherait même peut-être le charme en question!

ReplyDeleteshabby but still elegant.
ReplyDeleteSo much detail, really worthy of renovation.
ReplyDeleteIt makes one wonder what is going on here. Beautiful but shabby is right. MB

ReplyDeleteI sort of like it. It adds some charm, somehow.
ReplyDeleteI always "hear" : "Location- location" when I see photos of places that also could have been in a film.
ReplyDeleteOld and elegant!:)
