La saison des mariages

Wedding season has begun. This photo was taken at the end of May and this will be a common sight in front of the town hall during Saturdays of the upcoming months!

  2. Juin est aussi le mois pour les marriages ici. Normalement il ne fait pas si chaud qu'en Juillet ou Aout. Mais on a ete deja au 38 ce weekend.

  12. Notre coquine de fille est allée au tribunal d'instance pour se pacser avec le père de sa fille avec le bébé comme témoin (muet dans sa poussette) et elle nous en a informé incidememnt le soir.
    Moi je me suis mariée en mai (pas cette année), ce devait être en plein dans les Saints de Glace parceque qu'est ce que ça caillait !

    This model Volvo is not sold aux États-Unis. The Vachemobile began life as a Volvo, so «Louis» wonders which model this one is.

    («Louis» knows - the subject is weddings, not Volvos, but you know how «Louis» goes off on his own topics...)

  26. So some extra noise from the car horns as they drive to the churches and registry offices, such a jolly sound, I always enjoyed seeing wedding processions in France.
