Aw, that is so elegant! I remember walking through the Hall of Mirrors (right after it reopened) and staring with mouth wide open...like these shots, the reflections were shimmering!
Comme dit Bergson, tu joues la facilité: des reflets dans le palais des glaces! Ü mais bon, on ne s'en lasse pas, tout ce luxe , cette elegance, ces fragments d'histoire..c'est à la fois beau et émouvant!
Moi ce que j'aime, c'est les galeries des glaces dans les foires, trop facile d'en sortir qd on sait le truc (comme de tous les labyrinthes d'ailleurs). Les glaces dans les palais aggrandissent un espace qui n'est pas toujours si vaste que cela. J’aime les miroirs en deux parties, et piquetés, ce sont les miroirs anciens d’ailleurs j’en ai un comme cela dont le cadre tombe en lambeau au dessus de notre cheminée.

I also got kicked out of the main building because I forgot to take the flash off my camera in front of one of the paintings - oops!
