I was showing you a private street on the Avenue de Paris here. Here's a better view of the gate! I dabbled a bit with the sky colour, it was just too white...

Je vous montrais l'entrée d'une rue privée, située Avenue de Paris, ici. Voici une meilleure vue de la grille. J'ai un peu triché avec la couleur du ciel, mais il était trop blanc...

:)) well dabbled
ReplyDeleteWell done. I really like the gate.
ReplyDeletebeautifully done. What a gorgeous trees!
ReplyDeleteWell it matches the trees perfectly and adds to the picture - good dabbling!
ReplyDeleteI don't like it when "Ciel" is blue. But I do love this image.
ReplyDeleteDo you have to be 55 or over to get through that gate? Heh, heh!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely street, but they really shouldn't let the riff-raff in!
Interesting sky cold ... I hate white skies in my photos, too. By the way, do you use Photoshop...let me know, as I have something that would work well for you IF you're using PS!
Purple on purple. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThat gate is awesome!

hee hee
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you did a good job of dabbling with the color. Nice shot, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteI really like what you did with the sky. It has an enchanting quality about it.
ReplyDeleteThe gate is stunning.. O think the white sky would ahve set it off more. The light blue is distracting to me.
ReplyDeleteThere's so much to like in this photo besides the gate. The chain and supports are really cool with the acorn tops. Great stuff!!
ReplyDeleteThe colour of the flowers is my hubby's favourite :-)
ReplyDeleteI like it, colorful and beautiful tree, and an impressive gate!
ReplyDeleteI like the purple-y sky. It matches the trees!
ReplyDeleteI like this angle even more, it would look as a solemn entrance to an old villa, but in the other pictures it looks more a chapel or something like that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful iron gate and the sky matches the color of the lilacs.
ReplyDeleteThe gate is beautiful and I love a lavender sky. MB
ReplyDeleteMy mind is in an associative mood tonight and has me thinking Schloss Schönbrunn in Vienna. Don't ask why.
ReplyDeleteGreat job dabbling, the added color does well.
ReplyDeleteI'm usually not a fan of fake colored skies but you did a wonderful job. It looks right.
ReplyDeleteThe slightly lilac color you gave the sky reminds «Louis» of
ReplyDelete"I've never seen a purple cow;
I never hope to see one.
But I can tell you anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one!"
Looks like lavender perfume spilled up on the sky -:)
ReplyDeleteTee hee! A lavender sky. I like that idea. :)
ReplyDeleteOutstanding composition, really beautiful! :)
