I haven't had time to go out and shoot new material since my return from Seattle but I did go check the daffodils on Monday. This long, long row greets you when you arrive from Paris on D 910 road. For last year's view, click here!

Ciel: Im glad that you are back and posting again. Im sorry I missed you in the pacific NW. Im at the Hong Kong airport and am on my way to Jamaica. I hope I have connectivity so I can follow your wonderful blog. A bunch of daffodils for you! fondly, Lee
ReplyDeleteDaffodils are such cheerful harbingers of spring. They make me smile and the fragrance is heavenly.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I remember last year's photo and I think you've posted at least one other photo of this road from this angle, right?
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see the daffodils are out in your part of the world too. Ours are just starting.
ReplyDeleteNice angle!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheery greeting. Aren't Daffodils just the happiest flower. MB
ReplyDeleteoh you have daffodils, so lovely!I hope you had a wonderful visit to the states!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice bouquet for your readers, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteGee, arriving by the D 910 road is the way to go.
ReplyDeleteI love visiting your blog and reading your posts in English and French. The daffodils are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a beautiful site with so many lined up like that!
ReplyDeleteYou told me to email you but so far I have not discovered an email to send back to you. I will keep looking. Maybe Malyss can help me. Maybe if you posted on my main blog, since I moderate comments, there might be an addy there? Let me know what I can do to accomplish this.
Ciel, you so often start my day with a smile. This is definitely one of those days. Beautiful.
ReplyDelete(Les arbres verdoient)
A really long row! How lovely!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Do you think they replant them every year? Or they come back up?
ReplyDeleteThat would be a lot of work!
Welcome spring!
ReplyDelete@ Halcyon: excellent question. I have never yet seen city gardeners at work there, so maybe they just stay in place.
The most fabulous sign that spring has finally sprung, wonderful aren't they? :o)
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung in Versailles! U R a few weeks ahead of us I think!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sight and the names of the flowers are almost identical in Italian. Replanted or not, someone takes good care of these flowers.
ReplyDeleteYou and MB are making me feel very jealous! ;-) The daffodils are delightful!
ReplyDeleteThe green with the strip of narcissuses is so pretty. Nice homage to spring.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what year, jonquils or daffadils are always a welcome sighting of spring.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny seeing the same, or nearly the same flowers on the other side of the world. Our local daffodils don't have the big ruffly centers, though. At least not the ones I've seen this year so far. I'll keep looking. They must be here somewhere. I love your shot with the spring colors!
ReplyDeleteCiel !
Great! York daffodils tomorrow - if the weather is good enough!
ReplyDeletea yellow brick road for a new age :)))
