Araignée du soir...

Spotted last weekend. I'm sure there are lots of spiders, yet I had never noticed one this big right in the middle of the city centre.
------------------

  1. Ugly beast, great images. The first one is nice for the buildings in background, but the second is really great for the colors and the glimpses of the cobweb.

  4. You are frightened of our little gators and a few sharks but spiders you can handle, heh?

You did well here; it is hard to catch a spider in mid-web, so to speak!

  8. What a find, and a wonderful composition. Interesting to see a city, not more plants, in the soft background.

  10. These garden spiders are great, handy to have them in the garden and wonderful webs they spin often across huge gaps.
