For this week's Weekend Reflections hosted by James @ Newtown Area Daily Photo, here are some autumn reflections in a basin in the gardens of the Grand Trianon castle in the palace grounds.
--------------------
Pour les Reflets du Weekend de James, voici des reflets automnaux dans un bassin du Grand Trianon, dans le parc du château.
I especially enjoy the second photo. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteA better Trianon than yesterday. Excellent colors and reflections, the place looks completely different and much better today!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Ciel. The reflections are outstanding.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can almost imagine a reflection of Marie Antoinette's dress there somewhere, must be an echo still floating about there ...
ReplyDeleteThey are both beautiful shots. I like the colorful trees reflecting in the water.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo especially is very inviting. I am imagining an almost impossibly blue sky that befits a king.
ReplyDeletebeautiful colors
ReplyDeleteand reflections~

ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Ebie's Weekend Reflection.
I like these reflections made even more interesting by the floating leaves.
ReplyDeleteI like the pond. Frogs there? hopefully not, you guys eat frogs' legs!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections and the statue is so romantic. Thanks for the visit.
ReplyDeleteI like the colors in these pictures and the reflections. I'm so glad that I started this meme. It's great to see all kinds of great reflections like these.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky to have it reflected so blue in the water! Love that statue reflection but I ahd to enlarge it to see it at its best.
ReplyDeleteHello. Its lovely!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend.
Les chérubins sont dans le lac pour admirer le paysage d'automne! :)
ReplyDeleteMagnifique réflexion!
Léia
So beautiful. The blue is SO blue and the reflections great. MB
ReplyDeletebeautiful reflections and lovely shadows too
ReplyDeleteThe French are masters of reflection. Lovely photo the blues make it so cool and calm. Subtle!
ReplyDeleteNice reflections. The colors, and of course, the leaves in the water, certainly say Autumn.
ReplyDeleteAt first glance, I thought these were children on the island.
ReplyDeleteYou have so many beautiful spots to photograph.
Sharon
Beautiful reflection shots....such a blue sky...
ReplyDeleteWell even if you don't celebrate Hallowe'en as such it is All Soul's Day and then Mass tomorrow on All Saints Day. Smile! MB
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup tous ces petits messages lançés sur l'eau.
ReplyDeleteLovely reflections at Le Grand Trianon! Thanks for sharing them! And thank you for visiting my post! :)
ReplyDeleteThe blue of the sky turns to so deep and dark in the water. I like the feeling of the sculpture. Those two kids in a small raft, it´s so real.
ReplyDeleteNice reflection shots! :-)
ReplyDeleteNow, that is a place I would have like to see!
ReplyDeleteI like the structure created by the algal blobs floating near the surface...but I suspect the water could do with a little cleaning :)
ReplyDeleteThese are really beautiful. I especially love the shadow and reflection in the first. Kathy
ReplyDeleteLove the reflections and the statue too!
ReplyDeleteI've had Internet problems myself so I'm late doing comments. Thanks for your visit to my post.
