At Darras pâtisserie! May I suggest a violet éclair (not pictured here because we got the two last ones?! Don't know éclairs? Click on the link!)
--------------------------
Puis-je suggérer un éclair à la violette de chez Darras, non photographié ici parce que les deux derniers étaient en cours d'emballage pour nous ?

Un beau par terre de gâteaux ou Petits gateaux à tomber par terre.
ReplyDeleteThose looks absolutely delicious.
ReplyDeleteYou are making me feel hungry! Mmmmm.
ReplyDeleteOn my, what would I choose?....Barb
ReplyDeleteAh! Pâtisserie! «Louis» went to École Boulangerie et Pâtisserie de Paris to learn this. Alas, he had to return to the U.S. before taking the pâtisserie course...
ReplyDeleteThey're so delicious...I'm drooling.
ReplyDeleteLooks very tasty.
ReplyDeleteThe reason why you don't show us the éclairs is perfectly good. The rest is anyway glorious...
ReplyDeleteYou are killing me, Ciel. I'll have to diet after viewing your post today. Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI will take the eclair! Love them! :-)
ReplyDeleteBut all look fantastic and delicious!
Mon Dieu! Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil! Heavenly photo! Delicious, mouth-watering details! Arrete! Arrete!
ReplyDeleteOh... so many beautiful and for sure tasty things... They make me hungry:) Great shots!
ReplyDeleteOmigod! I haven't had breakfast yet! Sheesh! If grandeur can be applied to food, this would be the food! Yum, yum!
ReplyDelete93 degrees! As Frank used to say on Raymond: "Holy Crap!"
ReplyDeleteThat's incredible. How do you get any sleep at all? I hope you have fans at least. You could put some ice in front of the fans...
Yikes!
They are works of art and look (and I am sure taste) delicious.
ReplyDeleteThese desserts are gorgeous to look at and I am sure delicious to dine on. The designs and artistic style are so elegant. I am glad you enjoyed the Chihuly on my site today. It is amazing that the last rays of the sunlight at a certain angle cause the glass to look so different and start arcing the colors.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Colors!
ReplyDeleteYour comment on my site was so funny...
because I haven't read any of the books or
seen the movie! I'm not that into vampires either.
Shhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone. : )
I've been eating like a starved refugee at my sister's house all weekend and couldn't take another bite. But for this...
ReplyDeleteYumm. Nice pastries! I'll be over soon to have a bite (or more). Your Wikipedia link found an empty page, I don't know why. I really appreciated your comment about the cars in front of the mural in Astoria, because I had just been wondering if I should have waited until there was a clear shot, and it's hard to find a time when there is light and nobody is parked there. So, your comment was very welcome!
ReplyDeleteOoohhhhhhhhh a feast for kings no doubt. Beautiful presentation.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this post is absolutely NOT fair! To see and not taste is a huge gigantic tease! These are so amazing looking and you have captured the color wonderfull!
ReplyDeleteYou are cruel!
ReplyDeleteWhat colorful food! Eclairs I remember with love from my Chicago childhood.
ReplyDeleteGosh, that's a very nasty thing to do, showing this with all the hard months of diet we've been through...oh those must be tasty...look at that red one, I can feel the smell...drooling...Hi, I am Carlos, I am sober and this month I have just had wholesome bread and decaff with saccharin... :P
ReplyDeleteI want one of those little trays. No, both of them, to taste everything!
