No permanent damage to the knee, time will heal it. The camera is another story. It was only a small Canon Ixus and it's almost cheaper to buy another one. I'll see to it when I can walk better. In the meantime, more photos taken in May. One of the busiest shopping streets in Versailles is this one, with what I think are lovely classical façades.
---------------------------------------

Glad to know you are okay!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful street! I liked the perspective and the sky soooo blue!
Take care!
Léia and Luna(from Brazil)
You sure had beautiful blue skies in May...and this like a wonderful street for window shopping...those windows look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon and have the equipment to bring us more photos of Versailles, like this one. There are few shopping streets like this in the US. Most of have to go to a strip mall.
ReplyDeleteWell, I am very pleased to know you ultimately will heal up without surgery! Just take it easy and please don't try to run a marathon! Unless its in NYC... ;-)
ReplyDeleteCameras - yes, great buys at $200 or get a refurbished Nikon D40 at Adorama for $395.
I like this shot very much, but then I like everything French so sometimes I'm not too discriminating...
Take good care of yourself, please!
Thank God that You are fit now !!This is a fantastic photograph !! Really Loved the clouds too..Great..Get well soon too..
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear the good news about Wounded Knee! Sorry for the camera, but your repertoire is very good anyway.
ReplyDeleteI hope your healing time will not be too long.
ReplyDeleteThe houses are nice, especially the one with the stones.
I used to have an Ixus. Creat cameras I think.Prices have gone down a bit lately so I hope you can afford another one.
ReplyDeleteC'est une bonne nouvelle pour les genoux ! Quant à l'appareil c'est que du matériel et même si c'est embétant ça se remplace plus facilement qu'un genoux.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful street/buildings....happy to hear your knee will pull through, sorry about the camera!
ReplyDeleteGood news on the knee. Take it easy on you camera search.
ReplyDeleteBonne nouvelle ! Ne t’inquiète pas pour les photos. On a du plaisir en les regardent, peu import la date qu'elles ont été prises.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your knee is not permanently damaged. Very sad about the camera though!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful façades in a row!
ReplyDeleteI like the row of the buildings!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know that your knee will heal with time! the camera is another story......hope you have fun looking for a new one.
ReplyDeleteThe trouble with traveling is there simply is never enough time. The palace commands a full day, and your city many more days to see the sites. Thank you for this virtual tour. I hope you get plenty of rest and heal your knee quickly.
