A little while back, Nowy Sacz Daily Photo posted a picture of a lovely flower clock. This is the one in Versailles, which stands next to the town hall and is never on time!

How neat!!! I've never seen one before
ReplyDeleteWonderful flower clock!

How beautiful and a wonderful ideal....Barb
ReplyDeleteDo the hands actually move? Neat idea!
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful, Ciel. How is it operated? It's too bad the time is wrong. Of course, the time is probably correct for someplace in the world. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWho cares that it's never on time!!! lol, It's a gorgeous clock meant to be looked at timelessly.
ReplyDeleteSplendid photo of this very beautiful clock. I too have to wonder how it works.
ReplyDeletebeau travail des paysagistes de la ville de Versailles. Elle est superbe, j'espère qu'elle marche au solaire
ReplyDeleteI'd like one of these, I dont'care if on time or not!
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone need to know the time in a place like this?
ReplyDeleteWe have a similar one next to the airport, but I don't remember seeing it lately... I guess this means it's about time to travel again! :-)
ReplyDeleteC’est une vraie horloge ? C’est drôle – mais dommage qu’elle ne soit jamais a l’heure !
ReplyDelete@all: I'm sorry I don't know how this works, yes the hands should actually move but they've been stuck at 07:07 for awhile!
ReplyDeleteNot in time? In Torino we had a clock like that in front of railways station (that wasn't in time of course). When I was teen I often was stuck there to watch the "second hand" to turn... For minutes :-)
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot! I must admit I've never seen a "flower clock" and I like it! Too bad it's never accurate...
ReplyDeleteA living mandala, how wonderful!
ReplyDelete19 h 10 juste l'heure de l'apéro
ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice flower clock...even if it doesn't keep good time. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI could do with this, I've just lost my watch and it's driving me nuts looking at an empty wrist. At least this one would tell me *a* time, even if it isn't exactly *the* time!
ReplyDeleteCe sont les fleurs qui poussent qui ralentissent le cours du temps.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Looks very nice - so cheerful:)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool. Does it become a snow clock in the winter?
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that? Is it solar powered?
