L'horloge fleurie de l'hôtel de ville

A little while back, Nowy Sacz Daily Photo posted a picture of a lovely flower clock. This is the one in Versailles, which stands next to the town hall and is never on time!

  5. That's beautiful, Ciel. How is it operated? It's too bad the time is wrong. Of course, the time is probably correct for someplace in the world. ;-)

  10. Why would anyone need to know the time in a place like this?

  11. We have a similar one next to the airport, but I don't remember seeing it lately... I guess this means it's about time to travel again! :-)

  12. C’est une vraie horloge ? C’est drôle – mais dommage qu’elle ne soit jamais a l’heure !

  13. @all: I'm sorry I don't know how this works, yes the hands should actually move but they've been stuck at 07:07 for awhile!

  14. Not in time? In Torino we had a clock like that in front of railways station (that wasn't in time of course). When I was teen I often was stuck there to watch the "second hand" to turn... For minutes :-)

I could do with this, I've just lost my watch and it's driving me nuts looking at an empty wrist. At least this one would tell me *a* time, even if it isn't exactly *the* time!

  20. Ce sont les fleurs qui poussent qui ralentissent le cours du temps.
