Waiting for spring III

During a walk in the musician's garden yesterday afternoon, I saw this shrub with tiny bell like yellow flowers just starting to bloom. I have no idea what this is, maybe one of you knows it?
---------------------------

Here in the western part of north america, we have something like it called oregon grape. It's genus is Mahonia.

  5. very colorful for Spring. I am glad you enjoyed the farmer's market photos on my site. A banana for lunch, that is not enough for me. I like a banana for breakfast almost everyday, but I need a substantive lunch.
