Waiting for spring III


During a walk in the musician's garden yesterday afternoon, I saw this shrub with tiny bell like yellow flowers just starting to bloom. I have no idea what this is, maybe one of you knows it?

Au cours d'une petite promenade dans le jardin des musiciens hier, j'ai vu ce petit arbuste avec ses jolies petites clochettes jaunes sur le point d'éclore. Je n'ai aucune idée de ce que c'est, peut-être le savez-vous ?

    Here in the western part of north america, we have something like it called oregon grape. It's genus is Mahonia.

    very colorful for Spring. I am glad you enjoyed the farmer's market photos on my site. A banana for lunch, that is not enough for me. I like a banana for breakfast almost everyday, but I need a substantive lunch.

    Je confirme, c'est un mahonia qui aime l'ombre, lorsqu'il sera fleuri (jaune) il aura une délicieuse odeur de miel...
