A postcard from Versailles


Probably one of the best known views of Versailles, part of the palace seen from the garden side... Yes, I did my postcard stuff here but you will notice that I avoided the usual sunny picture postcard!

Probablement l'une des vues les plus connues de Versailles, le château vu du jardin. Oui, J'ai fait imitation carte postale, mais vous noterez que j'ai évité le rayon de soleil habituel !

    We really must come back to Versailles. I studied it for my garden history qualifications and feel I know the place inside out.. even though i don't! Wonderful shot!
