Monday Mural: maison de quartier de Porchefontaine

Do mosaics qualify for Monday Mural? I hope they do! These adorn the back walls of Porchefontaine neighbourhood's cultural centre (and I had shown you the mosaics on the pavement here). Btw, the bench is all yours, VP!

J'espère que les mosaïques, ça compte pour les fresques du lundi ! Celles-ci se trouvent sur les murs de l'arrière de la maison de quartier de Porchefontaine. Je vous avais montré celles du trottoir ici.

  1. They absolutely qualify. The mosaics were created by artists with talent, which is more than I can say for some of the graffiti that people call murals.

  2. Well, it's tile and not paint, but if it's colorful and pleasing, why not?

  3. It's too pretty to not qualify!:) Amazing to think of the work that goes into mosaics (the prior photo was lovely too).

  11. Art on walls = mural. It must have taken a lot of time and patience to piece such a lovely scene.

  13. Cela met un peu de gaité dans des rues parfois un peu tristounettes.

Belle freque de cette maison de quartier, c'est souvent des endroits propices aux fresques. c'est de la ceramique ?

  18. I would think you can define "mural" any way you wish. This is very attractive.

All is OK. Just need to take a breather and catch up on other stuff but will post on L&L Photography.

  24. The amount of work that goes into mosaics is staggering. They must be a wonderful surprise to those who walk in the courtyard. The mosaics on the sidewalk bring additional charm. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
