Do mosaics qualify for Monday Mural? I hope they do! These adorn the back walls of Porchefontaine neighbourhood's cultural centre (and I had shown you the mosaics on the pavement here). Btw, the bench is all yours, VP!
J'espère que les mosaïques, ça compte pour les fresques du lundi ! Celles-ci se trouvent sur les murs de l'arrière de la maison de quartier de Porchefontaine. Je vous avais montré celles du trottoir ici.
They absolutely qualify. The mosaics were created by artists with talent, which is more than I can say for some of the graffiti that people call murals.
ReplyDeleteNice looking mural.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's tile and not paint, but if it's colorful and pleasing, why not?
ReplyDeleteIt's too pretty to not qualify!:) Amazing to think of the work that goes into mosaics (the prior photo was lovely too).
ReplyDeleteBon. Moi je n'ai vu que le banc mais apparement il est déjà pris ..
ReplyDeleteSomebody did a lot of pretty work here. I like it.
ReplyDeleteNice quiet looking spot to sit and enjoy the mosaics!
ReplyDeletetrès beau ce décor
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteDid you hear, our famous Lod mosaic is now at the Louvre.
Interesting layout of the mosaic, below eye level.
ReplyDeleteSur ta première photo, même le sol semble décoré.
ReplyDeleteArt on walls = mural. It must have taken a lot of time and patience to piece such a lovely scene.
ReplyDeleteI can tell a lot of time and thought went into these mosaics. Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCela met un peu de gaité dans des rues parfois un peu tristounettes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the bench, I would like many murals like these... mosaics!
ReplyDeleteThis definitely qualifies! It is nice the way it flows around the space.
ReplyDeleteThis is really a nice place!
I would think you can define "mural" any way you wish. This is very attractive.
ReplyDeleteAll is OK. Just need to take a breather and catch up on other stuff but will post on L&L Photography.
Lots of details, very pleasant.
ReplyDeleteAh these pics are beautiful. and yes they qualify as murals--well to me anyway. MB
ReplyDeleteHow pretty and colourful.
ReplyDeleteI love the murals, but the bench doesn't look very comfortable.
ReplyDeleteThey qualify in my books! Love those colors. :)
ReplyDeleteThe amount of work that goes into mosaics is staggering. They must be a wonderful surprise to those who walk in the courtyard. The mosaics on the sidewalk bring additional charm. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a very lovely mural Ciel, just a little more 'permanent' than most :)
ReplyDeleteWell done!! Yes, I would call this a mural.
ReplyDeletesweet murals ~
