Whatever that thing is, it's decaying badly! Looks much too ferocious for the little angel! But then some little "angels" I've met are pretty ferocious themselves!
It almost looks like a dinosaur or very large bird. It is definitely very nightmarish.
I prefer to think of this little angel riding a cloud.
